Pristine White (OC)

It's me again. (Wow!) I'm drawing around a bit currently, but I don't really finish stuff enough to be shown here on deviantArt. I'm currently focusing my freetime on learning the guitar, learning a bit Japanese and I guess, gaming as well. Anyways, there has been this OC on my mind for over a year now, which I did not yet dare to make a picture of. I must admit, that I'm not really good at these kinds of things. I am a bad designer and admittingly, this OC probably looks similar to some other OCs out there, I guess. I am not really all that creative, especially with names! But she plays the major role in most of my stories in my head, so she deserved a picture.

This design is very likely not finished. Especially since I want to add more accessoires. But I am also not sure about the colors, yet. Also, this is the young version of my OC. She is actually a bit older than that. I did not shade on purpose, since I wanted to keep the colors intact.

Well, I guess, I write a short Bio:
Name: Pristine White
Age: 32 (in this picture more like 24)
Race: Unicorn, 2nd degree
Marital status: Single
Father: An earth pony, no name yet (something with "White" though )
Mother: A unicorn pony, 1st degree, no name yet either
Siblings: Just one younger brother, an earth pony, married to a pegasus. They've got a single child, a unicorn filly, 5 years old.
Occupation: Music Event Manager
Character: Pristine is a kind unicorn mare, but she is often misunderstood as being cold and uncaring. This is due to her very cautious nature, which results in her keeping her distance to almost everyone, even her own family. She is usually very calm, but can easily be annoyed by certain topics, such as other ponies saying that "someone should just die". She seldomly regrets her actions and tries to make decisions based on facts and not emotions. Her biggest enemy is doing the same thing over and over again. She gets easily bored by that and always needs to try something new, even if it is just something small.
Likes: Music (making and hearing it), thinking about "what-ifs", learning new things, cuddling, fluffy things
Doesn't Like: Butterflies, wasting time with cooking, long books, loud places except music-related ones
Hates: Unfriendliness and rudeness mostly
Story: Very short version only:
Pristine was born into an all-earth pony family. Her mother, the only other unicorn, originally came from a well-regarded and very old fashioned unicorn family. But she fell in love with an earth pony, which was the same as a disaster to the unicorn family. They asked her to get rid of the earth pony, but she rejected leaving him and was thus abandoned. She was taken in by the family of her boyfriend and was warmly welcomed by everyone. She never felt so much love in all her life before and therefore soon married her boyfriend. Pristine was born 2 years later.
Pristine herself grew up quite uneventful. She was showered with a lot of love and helped a lot around the house and the gardens, that her family owns. She also took care of her baby brother, who was born when she was 4 years old. She never got her cutie mark in all the time, but since she was so good at managing the things around the house, she decided to study Management and Business Economics in Manehattan. Her heart was never really into it, but she still excelled at her studies. After her studies, she worked as a trainee manager in a medium-sized company and 2 years later got promoted to co-manager. After that, the company suddenly spiraled down and went bankrupt within 6 months. Pristine later found out, that the CEO was destroying the company on purpose, but she could never prove that.
That left Pristine with no job, which wasn't bad per se. But she gained a kind of infamousness, making it hard for her to find something suitable. She did not really try hard though, since she actually wanted to do something else. When she met an old earth pony mare, that managed music events, Pristine convinced her of giving her an internship. Already after the first several days, Pristine knew, that this was what she was born for. She wasn't able to play instruments herself, but she could still discern what was wrong and what was right and could give tips accordingly. Her astounding performance resulted in her getting the job as a music event manager and also her very own cutie mark.

(Yes, she is a late bloomer. No, she does not have a tragic past. Just some minor circumstances.)

Edit: The 1st degree and 2nd degree at the unicorn race part only means, that 1st degree is basically a pure blooded unicorn, whereas 2nd degree is something of a mixed breed. I just noted it down that way, no deeper meaning currently.
